Overview

When Ira Gandhi from Kunskapsskolan asked her teacher if someone in Grade 5 could do an internship, the answer surprised her. “Only if you’re ready to put in real effort,” the teacher replied.

Through YuviPep’s Innovation Base Course, Ira joined a structured program that shortlisted her for a content creation internship. Her task? To research sustainability tips and build a media series for future entrepreneurs.

Aakash and Abhiman, Grade 8 students from NPS Banshankari, took a different route. Through YuviPep’s Innovation Base Course, they earned their internship spots by building a real-world AI-based posture optimization system. Meanwhile, Avani from Swargarani School & PU College built a Smart Agriculture System, applying tech to a problem close to her family’s heart—farming.

On the surface, it may seem like internships are for college students. But YuviPep’s model opens this opportunity to students as early as Grade 5, provided they’re part of a school-registered or online YuviPep program. Through an interview and registration process, interns are selected to work on projects that are meaningful, not mechanical. Other young interns like Aakash and Abhiman (Grade 8, NPS Banshankari) and Avani (Grade 8, Swargarani School & PU College) built full-fledged AI and smart farming systems during their internships
