YuviPep Magazine – June 2026 Edition
Not Big Bang, But Big Bounce
Indian Roots
In the 1970s, physicist Raj Kumar Pathria suggested our universe might exist inside a black hole. New research is reviving the idea.
What Is The Big Bounce? The Black Hole Link
A universe that collapsed, hit its limit and bounced outward.
The Big Bounce Idea
What if the universe began with a bounce instead of a bang? It may once have shrunk to an extremely tiny state, then bounced outward and begun expanding.
The Spring Idea
Squeeze a spring tight; it pushes back outward.
Black Hole Link
Matter may rebound, creating an entirely new universe.
Webb's Clue
Many ancient galaxies spin in the same direction.
Bang Still Leads
The Big Bang remains the strongest explanation today.
How Does Electricity Reach Your Home?
The Power Grid Journey
Electricity starts hundreds of kilometres away at a dam, wind farm or solar park, then travels through towers and wires to your switchboard.
The Power Grid
A vast network linking plants, towers, substations and local wires.
High Voltage
Raising voltage cuts energy lost over long distances.
Substations
They lower voltage to safer levels before it reaches homes.
Balancing Supply
Grids move power between regions to cover shortages.
Daily Life
Hospitals, metros, schools and homes depend on it.
Renewables
Grids blend solar and wind power smoothly.
Transmission Towers
Tall towers carry extremely high-voltage wires.
Can Tamarind Remove Microplastics?
How It Works
Tamarind powder binds to floating microplastics, forming visible clumps through coagulation. A handheld magnet then pulls the clumps out, leaving clean water.
A Curious Observation: Why It Stands Out
No electricity, large machines or complicated technology is needed.
Meet Plas Stick
Three 16-year-old Indian students invented Plas Stick, a biodegradable powder that filters microplastics out of water using tamarind seeds and magnets.
Earth Prize 2026
Asia Winners, each receiving $125,000 in funding.
Real Need
2.2 billion people still lack safe drinking water.
Biodegradable
The powder breaks down without harming nature.
Growing Reach
Reached 8,000+ students and teachers so far.
Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower
Shooting Stars Explained
Shooting stars are not stars at all. They are tiny space particles burning up in Earth's atmosphere, creating glowing streaks that light up the night sky.
Halley's Comet
Earth crosses the dusty trail Halley's Comet leaves behind.
Tiny Visitors
Many are grain-sized, yet travel around 65 kilometres every second.
Why "Eta Aquarid"?
Meteors appear to radiate from near the star Eta Aquarii.
When To Watch
It is bes to watch at late April to May, best just before sunrise.
No Telescope Needed
Just your eyes and a clear sky.
Gone In Seconds
Most meteors vanish within seconds.
Comet Dust
Each streak is a piece of comet dust.

Setting up a school partnership typically takes 1–2 weeks from initial discussion to first delivery. Our team handles all logistics including trial copies, teacher orientation, and student onboarding.
Yes, this is one of our core design principles. YuviPep programs run in dedicated slots (typically 1–2 periods per week) that sit alongside your existing syllabus, not in competition with it. We work around board exam calendars and school holidays.
YuviPep Magazine is designed for students in Grades 6–12. The content is age-appropriate and curriculum-aligned to engage students across middle and high school levels.
Absolutely. Many schools start with a single grade or section and expand based on student and teacher feedback. There are no minimum enrollment requirements for a pilot.
Both options are available. We can train your existing teachers with a one-day orientation workshop, or we can provide trained YuviPep facilitators for schools that prefer external support.
Schools pay a per-student subscription that covers the printed magazine, digital resources, and access to our educator portal. YuviPep provides content, delivery, and ongoing curriculum support at no additional cost.
