General FAQs
Typically 2–4 weeks from the first call to programme launch. Our onboarding team handles timetable coordination, parent communication templates, and facilitator briefings so the school's administrative load is minimal.
Yes — this is one of our core design principles. YuviPep programs run in dedicated slots (typically 1–2 periods per week) that sit alongside your existing syllabus, not in competition with it. We work around board exam calendars and school holidays.
YuviPep programs are designed for Grades 6–12. Specific modules are calibrated by grade band: Grades 6–8 focus on foundational innovation thinking, while Grades 9–12 engage in project-based and career-linked work.
Absolutely. Many schools begin with a single grade or section as a pilot and expand the following year based on outcomes and feedback. We support phased rollouts and provide data to help schools make the case internally.
Both models are available. YuviPep can embed trained facilitators who run sessions independently, or we can upskill your existing teachers through our educator training programme. Hybrid arrangements are also common.
YuviPep provides curriculum, digital platform access, trained facilitators (if selected), project kits, and assessment reports. Schools typically provide the classroom space and timetable slots. A detailed cost breakdown is shared during the scoping call.
YuviPep is designed as an add-on, not a replacement. We integrate with the school's existing infrastructure — using school labs, devices, and existing clubs where possible — and focus on skills that complement the academic curriculum.
Schools generally budget for the programme fee, any shared infrastructure upgrades (e.g. lab connectivity), and optional parent engagement events. YuviPep covers facilitator travel, project materials, and platform licenses.
Beyond the core programme, YuviPep offers career counselling sessions, industry mentor connect, innovation showcases, and access to inter-school competitions. These are included in most partnership tiers.
Partner schools receive priority access to new modules, invitations to national innovation summits, co-branding opportunities on student achievement certificates, and dedicated account management.
For most tiers, no additional technology spend is required — YuviPep provides project kits and the digital platform. Schools with infrastructure requirements (e.g. dedicated lab equipment) may need to co-invest; this is discussed during scoping.
Students get access to the YuviPep app with video lessons, project briefs, and peer collaboration tools they can use at home. Parents receive weekly progress nudges, and students can connect with mentors through the platform.
Schools are responsible for scheduling timetable slots, communicating the programme to parents, nominating a school coordinator who liaises with YuviPep, and ensuring students attend sessions. Day-to-day delivery is handled by YuviPep.
Programmes are customised on grade band, local language of instruction (English/regional), school board (CBSE/ICSE/State), and the school's existing strengths (e.g. STEM focus vs arts integration). Custom projects aligned to local industry clusters are also possible.
Innovation showcases, competitions, and inter-school events organised by YuviPep are included in the partnership fee. Third-party events or external competitions that students choose to participate in may have separate registration costs.
For standard joint initiatives (innovation fairs, parent days), costs are shared under a pre-agreed formula stated in the partnership agreement. Bespoke initiatives are scoped separately with transparent cost breakdowns before commitment.
Yes. YuviPep's educator training programme upskills teachers in design thinking, project facilitation, and AI literacy. Training is conducted in 1–2 day workshops at the school or at YuviPep's training centres.
For most programmes, schools don't need to purchase additional supplies — YuviPep provides project kits. For programmes with physical prototyping components, schools may occasionally source basic consumables (cardboard, craft materials) locally.
Yes. The YuviPep platform is maintained centrally by our engineering team. Schools and students always have access to the latest content and features without any action required on their part.
YuviPep runs scholarship and access programmes for schools in underserved communities where the full programme cost is subsidised or waived. Schools can inquire about eligibility during the scoping call.
Beyond enriching their academic offering (which supports admissions and retention), partner schools may also benefit from co-branded visibility, grant-writing support for innovation initiatives, and potential CSR partnership connections facilitated by YuviPep.
Partner schools can raise support requests through their dedicated account manager via WhatsApp, email, or the school portal. Standard requests are addressed within 48 hours; urgent issues within the same business day.
YuviPep's scholarship programme supports high-potential students from partner schools who wish to pursue advanced tracks (Innovation Lab, internships). Selection is merit-based; schools nominate candidates and YuviPep evaluates them.
YuviPep conducts all programme-specific assessments (project evaluations, skill reports) and shares results with the school. Schools retain ownership of academic grading; YuviPep assessment results are supplementary and can be shared with parents.
YuviPep resources are aligned to CBSE/ICSE competency frameworks and can be referenced in the school's activity records. Full curricular integration (e.g. using YuviPep project work as assessments) is possible with the school's cooperation and is part of the advanced partnership tier.
Ongoing support includes regular programme reviews with the school coordinator, facilitator performance monitoring, quarterly impact reports, parent communication templates, and access to YuviPep's educator community for peer learning.
No. Administrative and operational costs on YuviPep's side — staffing, platform, content development — are covered within the programme fee. There are no hidden administrative charges passed to schools.
YuviPep's content team works with educators and students from diverse backgrounds across India to develop projects and case studies that reflect local contexts. Regional language support is available, and inclusivity reviews are part of the content approval process.
The school provides the physical environment (classroom/lab space) and timetable slots. YuviPep provides everything else: curriculum, facilitation, project materials, digital platform, assessment, and reporting. This clean division keeps school administrative burden low.
The Innovation Base Course is YuviPep's flagship 40-hour programme for Grades 6–10 that introduces students to design thinking, problem solving, and the fundamentals of AI and technology through hands-on projects.
The course runs over one academic term (approximately 3–4 months) with 1–2 sessions per week. Each session is 45–60 minutes.
Students develop design thinking, computational thinking, basic AI literacy, prototyping, teamwork, and communication skills — all through real-world problem-solving projects.
Yes. The course is mapped to NEP 2020 competencies and CBSE/ICSE frameworks. Projects are designed to reinforce concepts from Science, Maths, and Social Studies in an applied context.
We recommend a ratio of 20–25 students per facilitator to ensure quality interaction. For larger cohorts, a co-facilitator is deployed.
Yes. Students who complete the Innovation Base Course receive a co-branded certificate from YuviPep and the school, along with a digital skill badge they can share on LinkedIn or include in college applications.
Yes. Completion of the Innovation Base Course is the recommended prerequisite for YuviPep's Innovation Lab — the advanced project-based track where students build production AI projects.
Assessment is project-based and continuous. Students are evaluated on ideation, prototyping, presentation, and peer collaboration. A final project showcase is conducted at the end of the term.
Students in Grades 9–12 from YuviPep partner schools who have completed at least one YuviPep programme module are eligible to apply. Selection is merit-based.
Interns work on real AI and technology projects with mentorship from industry professionals. Projects run over 4–8 weeks during summer or winter breaks, with 3–4 hours of work per day.
The internship is currently unpaid but provides a formal letter of completion, a detailed performance report, and a portfolio project that students can use in college applications and scholarship interviews.
Applications are opened twice a year (April for the summer cohort, October for the winter cohort). Students apply through the YuviPep platform. The school coordinator is notified when applications open.
Interns work on real-world AI projects in domains like healthcare, education, agriculture, and civic tech. Projects are co-designed with YuviPep's industry partners and mentors.
Internships are primarily conducted online with weekly live check-ins with mentors. For students near YuviPep's hubs in major cities, optional in-person days may be offered.
Yes. A parental consent form is required for all students below 18 years of age. The form is shared with the student and school coordinator upon selection.
Interns present their project at YuviPep's showcase event, receive a completion certificate and performance report, and are eligible to apply for YuviPep's advanced alumni programme or CareerX mentoring.
The Innovation Lab is YuviPep's advanced programme where Grades 9–12 students build 13+ production-grade AI and technology projects under expert mentorship. It is the highest tier of YuviPep's school programmes.
The Base Course introduces innovation thinking; the Lab is where students execute. Lab students work in teams on complex AI projects that are deployed and used by real communities — far beyond classroom exercises.
Past projects include AI-based crop disease detection systems, sign-language translation apps, mental health chatbots, and smart water quality monitoring tools — all deployed in production environments.
The Innovation Lab runs for a full academic year, with 2–3 sessions per week. Students commit to a minimum of 6 months and are encouraged to continue for the full year.
Students are matched with mentors from YuviPep's network of engineers, entrepreneurs, and researchers from companies like Google, Microsoft, IITs, and leading startups.

ABC stands for 'A, B, C of Innovation' — YuviPep's introductory workshop series for younger students (Grades 4–6) that builds curiosity, creative thinking, and basic problem-solving in a fun, gamified format.
The ABC series consists of 6 workshops of 60 minutes each, typically delivered over 6 weeks (one per week). Schools can also opt for an intensive 2-day workshop format.
Yes. ABC is designed to be accessible regardless of prior exposure to technology or innovation concepts. The facilitators use age-appropriate activities and stories to engage younger students.
Students learn the basics of asking good questions, identifying problems around them, brainstorming solutions, and presenting ideas. Activities use storytelling, sketching, and simple building exercises.
Yes. The ABC series is the natural entry point for younger students before they join the Innovation Base Course in Grade 6 or 7. It builds the mindset foundations that the Base Course then develops further.
Some schools include a parent open day where parents can observe the final ABC workshop session. This depends on the school's preference. YuviPep also offers a parent version of the session brief after each workshop.
